Traveling sustainably and paying attention to the environment even on vacation has become more than just a trend. At the Flair Hotel Neeth, sustainability is not only a matter of course, but is lived and implemented with full conviction.
In our kitchen almost exclusively fresh products are processed, we attach great importance to this. We purchase Galloway meat, sausage, potatoes, bread, rolls, asparagus, strawberries and ham from producers in the region. The eggs we serve for breakfast even come from our own chickens. Our trainees take great pleasure in tending the hotel’s herb garden, and we have recently started growing our own vegetables in our garden beds.
However, we not only pay careful attention to the ingredients used in our regional delicacies, but also ensure that all resources are used in an environmentally friendly manner throughout the entire hotel.
Waste separation, avoiding plastic as much as possible, certified 100% green electricity from regional wind power – also for our electric charging station right next to the building… these are some of many ways we use to preserve the wonderful nature in which we live and work for ourselves and our guests.
Flair Hotel Neeth is a sustainable hotel and we don’t just claim that, we have already been awarded the fourth out of five possible levels by GreenSign for our environmental awareness.
